Campaign shots for H&M’s upcoming womenswear and menswear collection with Maison Martin Margiela have surfaced and even though they are aimed at the masstige market the key pieces featured n the campaign are looking very strong.
Having collaborated already with fashion powerhouse’ such as Lanvin, Versace, Karl Largerfield, Jimmy Choo and Marni among others and produced collections with pop cultural icons such as Madonna, Kylie Minogue and a bodywear range with David Beckham which is on going. This one should be nothing short of success for both brands. With this collab H&M bring a sense of luxury and exclusivity to their customers again, and MMM get brand exposure and global publicity as well as the opportunity to introduce the brands earlier pieces to a younger market. It will be interesting to see how MMM’s avant-garde designs will be received by the masses and if it can match the financial success’ of earlier H&M collaborations.
The collection will be in H&M store’s and online November 15th.
